Was that you in my chair?

Putting out the reindeer food!

I got a cool gift from Santa at school. He sent me a bag of reindeer food (oats and glitter). It had their favorite food and a sparkle in it so they could easily see my house. Everyone went outside after church so we could sprinkle it out for Santa. I am sure glad I did because I got a ton of toys!

Christmas Eve Afternoon

We stopped long enough on Christmas Eve to take a quick family pic! We had a very active afternoon. We went to Candlelight Communion Service and then came home to have Christmas Part II.
Mom and I made a birthday pic together just like last year!

Morning of my 2nd Birthday

Here are a couple of shots of me opening a few of my birthday gifts from Mom and Dad.

I'm Officially 2!

Well it is official, at 10:18 this morning I was 2! You can look at my progression from these pics. If I must say, I have turned out to be a handsome little man.
It is time for the "terrible twos" even though I have been preparing for a while. All I can say is good luck Mom and Dad!
The top picture is about three days ago. The middle picture is last year on my birthday. The last picture is the day I was born.
Happt Birthday to my favorite lady in the whole wide world as well. My Mommy's birthday is today too.....I love you Mommy!!!!!

Present Candids

Papa and his babies!

Too pooped to party!

Helping Nana a little more!

I thought I would be kind and help Nana open her new serger. I got the Handy Manny tool set and decided to open the sides for her with my tools!

Not the baby anymore!

This was Emma girl's first Christmas. She really couldn't unwrap but she sure liked the bows!

The Waiting Game

Man, it seemed like EVERY present I opened had some type of twist tie to get off or a box that was hard to get into. If it wasn't one of the above, the gift needed batteries. Man, this present opening really tries your patience. Poor Dad and Papa Joe they had a time getting into those boxes. As you can see I was sitting waiting and cheering them on!

Nana's present

Well this is how the story of Nana's present goes....Cooper and I were told to take Nana her present. So as you can see in the bottom two pictures we simply pushed her gift over to her. We assumed that for all of our hard work we could open it as well. So the top two pictures are Cooper and I opening Nana's gift from everyone FOR HER!

Present time...

Man, I LOVE opening presents! My favorite part is ripping off the bows. It is so exciting to see what is under that paper that I have been told for soooo long not to touch!

Waiting on the Presents

So all I hear about is going to Nana and Papa's to open presents and we have to wait forever. I know Cooper kept telling everyone he was ready but no one would listen. As you can see we waited very patiently and finally it was time!

Getting ready to go to our first round of Christmas!

I was so excited to go to Nana and Papa Joe's! We were opening gifts with Aunt Mandy, Uncle Michael, Cooper and Emma girl.
We had a ball!

Mommy's other little angels...

Mom teaches the older 4 year old choir at church. She took pictures of them right before their performance last Wednesday night. I am so glad it was them in the costumes instead of me.

Crazy Mimi

Mimi came for a visit. We raced cars a lot while she was here. I love her because she usually lets me win! I was very disappointed because she didn't bring her new puppy,"Dogfood." Dogfood aka Zoe.

Arts and Crafts

Mom and I like to finger paint. She had this great idea of making trees from my handprints. Well, the first one was fun but by the third I was a little tired of it. Oh well, at least I got to make a mess!

The three amigos

Roll Tide

Nana and Papa Joe came over before the BIG SEC Championship game. We looked like Twinkies so Mom wanted to make our picture. I think it turned out really well.

Prayers requested please.......

Please keep Ashley's cousin and his wife Lyle and Elizabeth Holt as well as their families in your prayers. Their 5 month old daughter Rebecca passed away yesterday evening unexpectedly. I can't even begin to imagine the sense of pain and loss that they are going through right now and the range of emotions they will experience over the coming days, weeks and months as they grieve the loss of their precious daughter and granddaughter. It's just not fair that this has happened to a 5 month old child but as with all things God has a plan and we can be comforted knowing that Rebecca is with Jesus now and is being showered with his love and care.
This has been on my mind since last night when I found out, stuck in a hotel room in Nashville when all I wanted to do was to be home and able to give Griffin a kiss and a hug. I came across a poem tonight I'd like to share that pretty much sums up all the thoughts that have ran through my mind since last night. I especially love the way it gives us hope at the end. It pains us that Rebecca is gone but it is great to know that God has turned her into a little angel.

The saddest word, goodbye

When God calls our children
to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdon of His love.
For no heartache compares with,
the death of one small child.
Who does so much to make our world,
seem so wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold.
So He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few.
To make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be Good-bye.
So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children.

Out of Order

Well folks, it may be a while before you see any new pics. Mom and Dad's desk top has crashed. How this affects the blog is, all of my wonderful pics are on that computer. Dad backed up some older pics but not any recent ones. We have a friend trying to recover this stuff called data. We will see how it goes. So, please don't fret I will return as soon as possible!

Merry Christmas!
