A big boy visit to the zoo

Well as you can see we took another trip to the zoo. You can expect to see a lot of zoo pictures this summer. Mom and Dad bought a season pass to the zoo so we can go all we want. Mom is looking forward to outings this summer.

You know I'm growing up when they let me walk around the zoo. I did really well until we got to the camels. I wanted to ride them so bad but, Mom and Dad didn't let me. I had to get in the stroller for pitching a fit. Although, for most of the zoo I got to walk.

Do you have days like this? Well I figure I will after all we have done today. Between the egg hunt and the zoo, I'm sure I'll be like this too.

I love the carousel. Dad took his turn on the ride this time. Mom took her time sitting out and taking pictures.

The Birmingham Zoo steps it up!

Yep, this trip of many to the zoo, we realized that there was new animals. As many times as we have been to the zoo we have yet to see the Hippo and the Rhinos. I had a great time yelling at them but, they never payed me any attention.

I love trains and firetrucks. I was so excited when I saw that the ride at the egg hunt was a train - firetruck. Man, how cool am I? Mom decided she would let Dad enjoy this fun event.

The hunt is on!

Well after the great story with Ms. Abbey we were able to go out and hunt for eggs. My age group got to go to the CASA playground and hunt eggs. Man, I had a great time. There were eggs everywhere!

Before and after Ms. Abbey told the Easter story...

As you can see I was sitting very nicely waiting on the story. Once Ms. Abbey (our children director) started the story I thought I should go up and stand in front so I could get the MOST out of the story. Then I decided to walk among the girls and boys listening to the story and then around the sanctuary. For those of you that know my Mom well, you can only imagine what she was thinking. :)

It's that time, for Easter Eggs and Easter Egg Hunts

I am sooo excited, I get to go to my first Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow. Our church is having its annual egg hunt and I can't wait. The Easter Bunny will be there so I better be on my best behavior.

As you can see we decorated eggs tonight to take to the hunt. I had a great time. Mom handled the color while Dad and I added the stickers.

Watching a movie at Nanny's

Boys, boys everywhere! Well, all Mom's family went to Nanny's for lunch during Spring break. Itsn't it funny that three out of four of Nanny's kids were girls and three out of four of their kids were girls and now look. All the Great grandchildren are BOYS!! Someone needs to have a girl, good luck Uncle Andrew!

Look at my NEW wagon

I got a John Deere wagon during Spring Break. I guess you could say I had a good time that week. I got a new wagon, went to Mimi and Granddaddy's (where Mimi gave me cheesecake), got to drive several tractors, and got to spend time with Mom. Wow, it was a good week!

A tractor filled weekend...

Granddaddy got a new tractor to cut the grass with. I got to drive his tractor also. I am only two and already have so much driving experience. Watch out Mom and Dad I will be H_ _ l on wheels when I turn 16!

Riding Uncle Dennis' Tractor

Man, I am so lucky. My Uncle Dennis is a farmer and do you know what that means? He has tractors!!!! I went to visit the shed where he keeps all of his tractors. I got to ride and drive one, I am so cool. We rode around and around and around in the cotton field when I got to drive. I also saw a picker and a combine. As you can see, I was just the right size to sit in the wheel.

Mimi got me this cool drum set. Granddaddy and Uncle Andrew helped me out with lessons. I have to say, I think I am doing really well. I hate it though because, Mom left the drumset at Mimi and Granddaddy's house. I guess she just wanted Mimi to enjoy the noise from them all the time, and not miss out if they were at my house.

Granddaddy's Birthday!

All of us went to the 'Mont for Granddaddy's birthday and was all about helping him open his gifts!

Telling Uncle Andrew how it is....

See I know my uncle is an attorney but, he still needs my help. I had to explain the card from my point of view. I like him even though he will not give me a cousin to play with. Oh well, I will remain the only grandchild on Mom's side and love every minute of it!

Playing with Jake and his E Collar

Jake had a mishap with his harness. It cut into his leg and had to have stitches. So as you can see, he had to wear an E collar and was not very happy about it. Mom let him in the house some during his healing and I had a ball playing with him. I chased him around the house and rolled around in the floor with him. It was fun to watch him try to sniff or lick with the collar on. Jake is much better now and we are all glad! Mom cried because she felt so bad about Jake being hurt and Dad cried when he saw the Vet. bill. :)
