Greg Green

"Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives."

God decided to call our good friend Greg home earlier this week bringing to an end his 9 month battle with cancer. He fought the disease with every ounce of his being, displaying a bravery and courage that showed the true nature of his character. With his passing we have lost a loving husband and father, a wonderful son and brother, and the very best kind of friend to all who knew him.

In the past few days of talking with friends, attending the funeral services and just personally thinking back of all the memories I have of Greg, the one thing I keep coming back to is the outpouring of love and affection that EVERYONE has for Greg. Reading through the thousands of messages that have been left on the Caring Bridge site from people all over the country is a true testament to the person that Greg was. Without a doubt he was loved and respected by those who knew him personally and even those who did not know him. This shows that in the too short of time that Greg was with us, he truly lived and was a positive influence on those around him. His time on earth with his family and friends was cut short but he was not cheated in the way that he lived his life and gave of himself to others. In my eyes that is Greg’s lasting legacy.

I can only hope that when my time on earth ends that I did everything in my power to truly live life, just as Greg did.

In life and in death you will always be an inspiration to me and countless others my friend. We will always miss you and shall never forget you. Be at peace in the arms of the Lord.

Happy Easter.....

Playhouse Disney

Mommy and Daddy took me to Playhouse Disney and boy what a good time it was. I got to see all my favorites, especially Mickey and Minnie. I screamed, I clapped, I danced, I peed on Daddy's leg and then I was so worn out I fell asleep during the intermission. Yeah, Yeah, I missed the end but you should have seen me during the first half of the show. I partied like a rockstar.

I can be still......

To my knowledge this is the only picture of me not moving while awake since I have figured out how to walk.
